CAREERS POSITION TITLE: Project Engineer - Civil QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES: Experience necessary in civil design and drafting of subdivision layout, utility plans (sewer and water), paving and grading plans, etc., using AutoCAD software. Must be conscientious and organized, willing to learn and grow with the company. Must be able to interact with clients and office staff. POSITION TITLE: Project Engineer - Civil DUTIES: Responsible for managing all aspects of engineering land development and flood control from conception to final product. Design residential land development projects, prepare and process construction plans for approval. Prepare grading, paving, water, sewer plans and drainage reports for residential subdivision using AutoCAD. Prepare supporting calculations, construction specs, and required permits for residential and commercial projects in various jurisdictions. Manage project budget and track projects. Responsible for client deliverables. Assist as necessary with business development activities and maintenance of positive client relationships. Attend site and progress meetings; meet and coordinate with different state and governmental agencies and specialized Contractors; handle cost estimation, bid evaluation, project and staff budgeting. At onsite visits provide information and guidance to Contractors, issue Field Orders, perform quality and safety control and testing. Ensure coordination between surveying and engineering departments. EDUCATION: Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent). In the alternative of a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related degree and 2 years of relevant experience, we will accept applicants with a Bachelor's degree in the same field with five years of progressive post-baccalaureate related experience. EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in the job offered or in Civil Engineer or Planning Engineer. In the alternative of a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related degree and 2 years of relevant experience, we will accept applicants with a Bachelor's degree in the same field with five years of progressive post-baccalaureate related experience. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of construction engineering experience including duties such as: execute project documents, reviews, problem solving, budgeting, oversight, development of change orders, analysis of test reports, preparing schedules, cost reports, post construction services. 1 year of prior Civil Engineering Project Management experience. 1 year of experience using project scheduling software. Ability to analyze drainage and flood reports. Knowledge of earth excavation, moving, and street construction techniques. Previous experience involving co-ordination with public agencies. POSITION TITLE: Arizona Engineer in Training (EIT, CIVIL) QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES: Experience necessary in civil design of subdivisions, utility plans (sewer and water), paving, grading, and street plans, and stormwater and hydrology design and reports. Experience with AutoCAD and Civil Series EaglePoint software essential.
