The Rancho Roca RV Resort project was based on the vision to develop a five star RV Resort, consisting of up to 170 full hook-up RV spaces with an on-site wastewater treatment facility including a dump station in addition to the common water system. As part of the open-space total, a 26-acre undisturbed “Preserve” was planned. The balance of the open space included such functional aspects as pedestrian/nature walks with about 1.5 miles of trails; a park, a picnic area with barbeques and horseshoe pits; a pond and water features incorporating the reused/treated wastewater. Twenty-two acres were retained for single family residential uses, comprised of two acre residential zoning. This location was intended as a separation and transition from the Rancho Roca open space through to the adjoining residential properties to the north and east. SEC was responsible for the hydrology, site plan, grading, entrance roadway design, as well as the entitlement processing and citizen participation process. |
