SEC's hydrology work has included projects for both public and private sectors incorporating flood plain delineations, FEMA Letters of Map Revision, regional drainage studies, floodfringe studies, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), hydraulic structure analyses and scour analyses. Additionally, SEC uses hydrology to verify negative impacts to properties surrounding development construction. SEC effectively uses HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TR-55, FLO-2D, Rational Method and the aspects of floodplain hydrology and hydraulics including National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance and incorporation of Best Management Practices (BMPs).
